@soypablor: You can do so by going to the root site settings and changing the site image there in the options.

Under Site Actions > Site Settings, under Look and Feel, you will see the option for Title, description and icon. Once there, change the URL and Description path. You can point it to an image in the image library within the site, or even an external link (i.e., path to a public directory site with logo graphic)
